Proposed Merge of The Sandringham practice and The Village Group Practice
Posted on 6 Oct 2021
Over the past few years there have been increased pressures placed upon General Practice and we have worked hard to look after an increasing number of patients. It has proved difficult to recruit new GPs, which has made us think very differently about the way we will work to provide a high level of service and care you can continually benefit from.
Both The Sandringham Practice and The Village Group Practice have worked together over the last 12 months, and we have realised that the best way to provide our patients with a high-quality service is to merge the two practices together as one. It means we can provide care in a more dynamic way by employing different skills mix with specialities to provide a high level of holistic care, undertake many administrative things once instead of twice, share responsibilities between a larger number of staff, develop new services and special interests, improve our premises and train and recruit new staff for the future. This in turn will increase patient access to premises and care because patients will have more choice in which practice, they are seen at, and by who.
